On December 22, the third member conference (2021 annual meeting) of the Special Textile Branch of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association was held at the Yingbin Hotel in Hebi City. Gao Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China National Textile Industry Federation, former President Wang Tiankai, Vice President Li Lingshen, President of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association Li Guimei, and President of the Special Textile Branch Wang Xuguang, along with city and county leaders Ma Fuguo, Guo Hao, Wang Zehua, Liu Wenbiao, Yang Jianqiang, and Ma Haipeng attended the meeting.
The conference was hosted by the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association and the People's Government of Hebi City, organized by the Special Textile Branch of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association, the Hebi City Bureau of Commerce, and the People's Government of Qixian County, with co-organizers including Zhongwei Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. and Henan Bangwei High-tech Special Textile Co., Ltd.
In his speech, Ma Fuguo, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, stated that the textile industry is related to the national economy and people's livelihood. Holding this annual meeting in Hebi provides a valuable platform for everyone to discuss cooperation and plan for the future. He hopes that leaders and experts will take the time to visit Hebi, bring technological achievements for transformation, introduce cutting-edge projects for development, and bring research teams to conduct research in Hebi, helping Hebi achieve high-quality development.
Gao Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China National Textile Industry Federation, pointed out that the textile industry is a pillar industry of the national economy and social development. In recent years, the China National Textile Federation has continuously strengthened research and top-level design of the military-civilian integration strategy in textiles, promoting deep integration of textiles with national defense and military. As an important force in the textile industry engaged in military-civilian integration, the Special Textile Branch of the China Industrial Textiles Industry Association inherits the fine traditions of military textiles and has achieved positive results in gathering the military-civilian integration team and serving the modernization of the military. He hopes the branch will continue to work hard, strengthen its own construction, innovate work ideas, enhance cooperation with demand units, and promote high-quality development of the special textile industry.
Li Lingshen, Vice President of the China National Textile Industry Federation, stated that in recent years, Hebi has adapted to the theme of high-quality development, promoting the development of the manufacturing industry with a solid industrial foundation. Next, we will firmly grasp the window period for industrial transformation and upgrading, actively play the role of the industry association as a bridge, and carry out broader and deeper exchanges and cooperation with Hebi in terms of talent, technology, and resources, helping Hebi's textile industry achieve better and faster development.
Ma Haipeng, the county mayor of Qixian, introduced the local textile industry development situation. He stated that the textile industry in Qixian has four major advantages and characteristics: first, it started relatively early, with outstanding concentration advantages; second, it has developed rapidly, with strong competitive strength; third, it has a dual focus, with clear development positioning; fourth, it has advanced technology, with strong development momentum.
